On Tuesday, Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-VA), Chairman of the House Government Operations subcommittee, will kick off his “Infrastructure Week,” a series of events demonstrating the critical investments the bipartisan infrastructure law will support throughout Northern Virginia. Connolly’s first event will be a roads and bridges roundtable at the Stringfellow Park and Ride Station in Centreville, Virginia. The roundtable will highlight the road and bridge construction and repair, with a focus on climate change, mitigation, resilience, equity, and safety for all users. On Wednesday, Connolly will host an energy and environment tour of the Prince William County Service Authority’s water treatment facility. During this tour and discussion Connolly will hear how new projects will be implemented to ensure we are delivering clean water to all American families and work towards removing lead service lines.
