Connolly to Host Virtual Senior Issues Forum

Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-VA) will host his annual Senior Issues Forum on October 29th at 3:00 PM. In the interest of community health, this year's event will be held virtually. The forum will provide an opportunity for a panel of experts to discuss the many issues facing senior Virginians, especially over the past year and a half. The panelists will share resources and legislative measures that are being taken to better the lives of the senior citizens in our district, and will answer questions and address concerns from the audience.

Panelists for this year’s Senior Issues Forum include:
  • David Melton, Public Affairs Specialist for the Social Security Administration
  •  Trina Mayhan-Webb, Division Director for the Fairfax County Adult and Aging Division
  •  Sarah Henry, Director for the Prince William County Area Agency on Aging
  •  Kristin Helfer-Koester, Assistant Program Coordinator for the Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program
  •  Jim Dau, State Director for AARP Virginia
Those interested in attending the forum can register here, and submitted questions for the panel here.
