Congressman Gerald E. Connolly, a senior member of the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, released the following statement after Donald Trump was indicted for the fourth time in connection to his efforts to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia:

“A fourth indictment for Donald J Trump. He and his band of misfits must be held accountable for their efforts to overturn an election. No matter the office one once held, criminal actions that threaten our democracy must be prosecuted.”
