Connolly Statement on Senate Passage of the Postal Service Reform Act

Today, Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-VA), Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Government Operations, released the following statement after the Senate passed the bipartisan Postal Service Reform Act.

"After more than a decade of hard work and negotiations, the Postal Service Reform Act is finally on its way to the president's desk. This will save the Post Office from financial ruin, and ensure our mail is delivered for decades to come. I want to thank Chairwoman Carolyn Maloney for her tireless leadership on this legislation, and I look forward to it being signed into law."
