Connolly Statement on Amy Coney Barrett's Confirmation

Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-VA), Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Government Operations, released the following statement today after the US Senate voted to confirm Amy Coney Barrett's nomination to the US Supreme Court:

"With this vote to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, Mitch McConnell has forever sealed his legacy as the man who broke the US Senate. This egregious power grab will be remembered and responded to."
