Connolly Announces "A" Grade from National Parks Action Fund

Today, Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-VA) received an A grade on the National Parks Action Fund’s Congressional Scorecard. This scorecard considers Congress Members’ votes on legislation concerning park funding, conservation, historic preservation, and wildlife protection. Connolly received a score of 100% for his votes throughout the first session of the 118th Congress.

“Our National Parks are some of America’s greatest treasures, and I am proud to protect them at every opportunity,” said Connolly. “Against the backdrop of climate change and increasingly common natural disasters, we have a duty to preserve and revitalize these public lands. We must ensure full funding for these parks and the invaluable services Parks employees provide, as well as for the plant and animal species that call these parks home.”
