Dear Neighbor,
Last week, a leaked Supreme Court opinion revealed the Court's intention to overturn Roe v. Wade -- the foundation of reproductive freedom in America.
I am outraged. This decision, while still a draft and not a final ruling, is a real threat to women and to every American who values personal liberty and the right to privacy.
The House has already voted to put a woman's right to access an abortion into federal law by passing the Women's Health Protection Act, which I am proud to cosponsor. And I will continue to do all I can to urge its passage in the Senate, including abolishing the filibuster.
