I was proud to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Rev. Dr. Vernon C. Walton's service as Pastor of First Baptist Church of Vienna. Pastor Walton continues to be a true servant in our community and abroad through his active leadership.

It’s always great to be at Meadowlark Gardens for the annual Korean Bell Garden Celebration! The Bell of Peace and Harmony represents the lasting friendship between the US and Korea, and reminds us that our greatest strength in Northern Virginia is our diversity.

I held my annual Congressional Art Competition Reception to celebrate the incredibly talented students from our district who submitted work this year. Thank you to the students, parents, and teachers who made this all possible, and congrats to our first place winner Julia Lee!

George Mason University hosted a great discussion about the future of IT modernization, AI, and cybersecurity. I was proud to secure funding for the first Center of Excellence in Government Cybersecurity and Risk Management and Resilience right here at Mason!

I joined the Fairfax County Park Authority to celebrate National Trails Day and the 10th anniversary of the naming of the Gerry Connolly Cross County Trail! This 41-mile trail is a true gem in our county and its completion was one of my proudest moments in office.

I had a great time with the NARFE Vienna-Oakton Chapter 1116 as they celebrated their 55th Anniversary! Thank you for your advocacy and support for our active and retired federal employees. I’m proud to be a strong champion on the Hill for our dedicated civil servants.

It was an honor and a privilege to celebrate the legacy of a heroic woman who fought for civil rights here in Fairfax County. Lillian Blackwell cared passionately about equity and access for all, and I’m proud that we have recognized her lasting contributions to our schools and our county with this newly unveiled historic marker.
