Dear Neighbor,

A little while ago, I sent you a Recess Roundup of everything my team and I were up to while Congress was out of session. Since then, we haven't slowed down one bit.

Last week, my team and I spent time in every corner of Fairfax County to meet with members of our community, celebrate their successes, and hear their concerns. Take a look:

I had a great time welcoming attendees to AARP's fantastic Life@50+ event in Vienna! Our local AARP volunteers do an incredible job of providing seniors in our community with the resources they need to live a long, healthy life.

I met with Everfox employees at their offices in Herndon for a substantive town hall meeting on all things cybersecurity. I am proud to be a champion for federal IT and cybersecurity in Congress!

Such an honor to visit with the dedicated team at Inova's Ewing FACT Department. Victims of assault or abuse often come to this department on one of the worst days of their lives, and are able to leave more hopeful and empowered after spending time with these incredible nurses, doctors, and staff.

I had another employee town hall, this time with the team at Booz Allen. My thanks to them for hosting a very productive conversation about AI, federal IT modernization, and workforce development.

It’s always great to celebrate the volunteers and staff from the Shepherd’s Center of Northern Virginia. Volunteers from SCNOVA dedicated over 12,000 hours last year to helping seniors in our community! I’m proud to represent such a vibrant, service-minded district.

I held a productive, insightful meeting with NCNW Reston-Dulles members. I value their commitment to improving the lives of our citizens through health care, education, economic empowerment, social justice, and so much more.

I was honored to speak at Shelter House's Changing Lives Luncheon. I’m proud to be their partner in Congress as we work to end domestic violence and homelessness in our community.

As I wrote to you about earlier this week, I held a powerful roundtable discussion with infertility patients, advocates, and doctors. These conversations are vital to my work in Congress leading the fight to defend access to IVF and require coverage for federal employees.

I've said it before and I mean it: there is nothing better than spending time with so many of you at events across our community. It's my favorite part of the job, and I am grateful every day that I get the chance to do it.
