Dear Neighbor,

With Congress out of session, my team and I have had a busy few weeks out and about in our community! We have crisscrossed our district, visiting with hundreds of constituents in every corner of VA-11.

I want to take a moment to share with you some of what Team Connolly has been up to lately. Take a look:

Rep. Connolly and Sen. Kaine visit with students from TJ on the steps of the Capitol.

Senator Tim Kaine and I had a great time speaking with a big group of students from TJHSST. Our future is in good hands with these folks at the helm!

Rep. Connolly attends the ribbon cutting for the Woodleigh Chase Senior Living Community

I was thrilled to be able to attend the ribbon cutting for the new Woodleigh Chase Senior Living Community in Braddock. I'm so excited for all who will call this fantastic new community home.

Rep. Connolly attends a ribbon cutting for the MITRE AI Discovery and Assurance Lab

I was also able to attend another ribbon cutting -- this time in McLean for MITRE's new AI Assurance and Discovery Lab. This will be a great resource for the federal government on all things AI.

I had a great visit with the folks at SourceAmerica in Vienna. We had an in-depth discussion about their important work, including the AbilityOne Program and the Refugees with Disabilities Vocational Training Project.

Rep. Connolly holds an employee town hall at Verato.

I had an engaging employee town hall with the team at Verato in Tysons. It's always a pleasure to answer questions from the people that make up our great constituent companies across the district.

Rep. Connolly speaks at an event to announce funding for the Chesapeake Bay.

What an honor to join my colleagues, Sen. Kaine and Reps. Beyer and Spanberger, to announce $206 million in federal funds to protect and restore the Chesapeake Bay. This funding, made possible in part by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, will help us ensure the Bay remains a treasure for generations to come.

Rep. Connolly attends the Burke Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department Installation of Officers and Awards Banquet

I was also honored to attend and speak at the Burke Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department's Installation of Officers and Awards Banquet. We had a great celebration of these brave volunteers and the newly installed officers and board members.

Always a fun time with my friends from the Rotary Club of Tysons Corner! As an honorary rotarian, I’m committed to following the four way pledge in my work on Capitol Hill.

I had a great time speaking to the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors. It's always a pleasure to join them for their Politics & Pancakes Breakfast!

Rep. Connolly meets with volunteers from Moms Demand Action

I had an important, substantive meeting with volunteers from Moms Demand Action. These folks are dedicating their time and energy to ending gun violence in America, and I could not be more proud to stand alongside them in that fight.

There is nothing better than spending time with so many of you at events across our community! It's my favorite part of the job, and I am grateful every day that I get the chance to do it.
