I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy. Your cooperation and commitment throughout this crisis saved lives, and I am grateful for the efforts you've made thus far. Still, I can't stress enough the importance of continuing to protect each other, and yourselves, by wearing masks in public and practicing social distancing.
Due to necessary safety precautions against large gatherings, this year’s annual Senior Issues Forum will be held virtually. It will take place on Wednesday, October 21st, at 3:00 PM. Please be sure to register for this virtual forum HERE. While registering, you will be able to submit questions for the panelists.
The panelists for this year’s Senior Issues Forum include:
- David Melton, Public Affairs Specialist for the Social Security Administration
- Tara Turner, Acting Director for the Fairfax Area Agency on Aging
- Sarah Henry, Director for the Prince William County Area Agency on Aging
- Carma Ryan, Program Counselor for the Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program
Hearing from you and addressing your questions and concerns is always my top priority. Virtual town halls are a great way for us to stay connected while continuing to stay safe.
Please continue to take care of yourselves and each other and remember that my office is here to help. Be sure to visit the COVID-19 page on my website for more information and resources. If you have any questions or concerns, or if you need assistance, please don't hesitate to call us at (703) 256-3071.
