Dear Neighbor,

On his first day in office, Governor Glenn Youngkin signed an Executive Order repealing the school mask mandate that was implemented to keep students and staff safe and that has made it much more possible for Virginia schools to remain open for in-person learning.

Northern Virginia school districts have already announced that their mask mandates will remain in effect to ensure schools can remain open even as the omicron variant continues to spread.
