Dear Neighbor,
I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy. Your cooperation and commitment throughout this crisis saved lives, and I am grateful for the efforts you've made over the past year and a half. Still, I can't stress enough the importance of continuing to protect each other, and yourselves, by wearing masks in public, practicing social distancing, and getting vaccinated.
This year, we will virtually host our annual Senior Issues Forum again. It will take place on Friday, October 29th, at 3:00 PM. Please be sure to register for this virtual forum HERE. We have a great panel of experts who will be presenting on several issues that impact the Senior community.
The panelists for this year’s Senior Issues Forum include:
- David Melton, Public Affairs Specialist for the Social Security Administration
- Trina Mayhan-Webb, Division Director for the Fairfax County Adult and Aging Division
- Sarah Henry, Director for the Prince William County Area Agency on Aging
- Kristin Helfer-Koester, Assistant Program Coordinator for the Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program
- Jim Dau, State Director for AARP Virginia
