“The right-wing extremists on this Supreme Court are too busy accepting gifts and trips from their billionaire friends to lift a finger for the generation of Americans saddled with crippling student loan debt. This group of far-right ideologues and culture warriors, by laying bare its disdain for regular, hardworking Americans, has tossed the last shreds of the Court’s legitimacy out the window.

“To my Republican colleagues who spend their days breathlessly searching for proof of the weaponization of the federal government, I say look no further than this Supreme Court. They have weaponized the law against women seeking legitimate medical care. They have weaponized the law against people of color seeking a quality education. They have weaponized the law against same-sex couples who want nothing more than equal treatment. And they have weaponized the law against millions of students who don’t want a future defined solely by their mounting debt."
