Connolly, MeriTalk to Host Virtual Federal Workforce and IT Modernization Update

Fairfax, VA, April 21, 2020

On Thursday, April 23 at 11:00 AM, Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-VA), Chairman of the Subcommittee on Government Operations, will join MeriTalk for a virtual update on COVID-19’s impact on the federal workforce and federal IT modernization efforts.

Congressman Connolly will discuss:

  • Issues facing the Federal workforce including Telework and Weather and Safety Leave
  • Federal IT modernization and funding initiatives in future COVID-19 relief packages
  • Insights on the Council of the Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE) reform
